A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
ESTABLISHING STOP CONTROLS
AT THE INTERSECTION OF AVENIDA FLORENCIA AT VIA DEL TORO
AND FOR CAMINO DEL VALLE AT VIA DEL TORO
WHEREAS, Section 21100 of the California Vehicle Code permits local
authorities to adopt by resolution traffic control measures meeting the
requirements set forth under Section 21351 of the California Vehicle Code; and
WHEREAS, Section 21351 of the California Vehicle Code permits the
establishment of stop controls in the City of Poway; and
WHEREAS, this Council has determined that all-way stop controls should
be established.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of
Poway as follows:
Section 1. In accordance with said Section 21351 of the California
Vehicle Code, all-way stop controls shall be installed at the intersection of
Avenida Florencia at Via del Toro and at the intersection of Camino del Valle at
Via del Toro.
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED BY THE City Council of the City
of Poway, California at a regular meeting thereof, this 16th day of July 2002.
