ABSTRACT
In accordance with the provisions of the Charter of the Performing Arts Advisory Committee, Sylvia
Palmer Zetler of the Black MOill1tain Dance Theatre has been selected by lottery for nomination to a one
year appointment to the Performing Arts Advisory Committee beginning September 1, 1995.

SUBJ ECT: Appointment of Community User Group Representative
to Performing Arts Advisory Committee
BACKGROUND
On December 17, 1991, the City Counci 1 acted to amend the charter of the
Performing Arts Advisory Committee to include a representative from among the
community user groups of the Poway Center for the Performing Arts, The user
group to be represented would be selected by the Committee and recommended to
the Mayor and City Council for appointment,
At its regular meeting on April 8, 1992, the Performing Arts Advisory
Committee voted to place all those qualifying community groups interested in
serving on the Committee into a ~OOl from which one group would be selected by
lottery for a one year term, A ottery selection would be held each year to
determine who would be the selected user group for that year's appointment to
the Committee,
FINDINGS
At its regular meeting on June 14, 1995, the Performing Arts Advisory
Committee selected, by lottery, Syl v i a Palmer Zetler of the Black Mountain
Dance Theatre to be the community user group representative on the Performing
Arts Advisory Committee for a one year term beginning in September, 1995,
