SUBJECT: Award of Bid for the Construction of Del Poniente Sewer Line -
Phase I (#1803)
ABSTRACT
This proposal would award the construction of Del Poniente Sewer contract to Interwest
Pacific, Ltd, in the amount of $246,390.00. The contract time for the project is 60
working days,
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
On June 6, 1995, the City Council issued a Mitigated Negative Declaration for this
proj ect. Approved mitigation measures being completed at this time include permit
applications for biological and cultural resources. The necessary permits are being
processed with consultant assistance so as to meet the construction schedule for the
- project, which is anticipated to start on September 1, 1995,
FISCAL IMPACT
There are sufficient funds to complete the project,
ADDITIONAL PUBLIC NOTIFICATION AND CORRESPONDENCE
None,
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council award the Del Poniente Sewer contract to
Interwest Pacific, Ltd, in the amount of $246,390,00,

On July 6, 1995 bids were opened for the Del Poniente Sewer Line Phase I
project, The Engineer's Estimate for the base bid was $205,000 to $235,000,
The contract time for this project is 60 working days,
