Schuler, Senior Civil Engineer~ DATE: August 22, 1995 SUBJECf: Acceptance of Traveling Bridge Upgrade, Water Treatment Plant (#1718) ABSTRACf: Upon final inspection of the project, staff finds the project to be complete in accordance with the standards and specifications of the contract. It is recommended that the City Council/Redevelopment Agency approve acceptance of the project, FISCAL IMPACf _ The project was completed within the available budget. No additional funds are needed, ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW The project is categorically exempt under Section 15301 of the CEQA. ADDITIONAL PUBLIC NOTIFICATION AND CORRESPONDENCE None. RECO~~ENDATION It is recommended that the City Council/Redevelopment Agency: 1. Schuler, Senior Civil Engineer DATE: August 22, 1995 SUBJECf: Acceptance of Traveling Bridge Upgrade, Water Treatment Plant (#1718) BACKGROUND On November 29, 1994 the City Council/Redevelopment Agency awarded the contract for the rehabilitation of the traveling bridge at the Lester J, Berglund Water Treatment Plant to Westmont Industries, The amount of the contract was $278,026,00 FINDINGS The single change order on this project resulted in no change in the total contract amount, FISCAL IMPACf The project was completed within the available budget, No additional funds are needed, ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW The project is categorically exempt under Section 15301 of the CEQA.
