ABSTRACI'
A claim for damages was received from Mr. Thomas Woertz on June 29, 1995. Mr. Woertz
alleges that his home was damaged by a sewer backup when a City main clogged. The
amount of the claim is $2,097. It is recommended that the City Council deny this
claim.

SUBJECT: Denial of Claim for Damages - Thomas P. Woertz
BACKGROUND
On June 9, 1995, a claim for damages was received from Mr. Thomas Woertz. The
amount of the claim is $2,097. It is recommended that this claim be denied.
FINDINGS
Mr. Woertz claims that his home was damaged when a City main became clogged causing
the City sewer to back up into his laundry room. The incident occurred on April 15,
1995.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
