Hefner, Associate Civil Engineer~ DATE: September 26, 1995 SUBJECf: Acceptance of the Auxiliary Generator Building <#5529} ABSTRACf: Upon final inspection of the project, staff finds the project to be complete in accordance with the standards and specifications of the contract. It is recommended that the City Council approve acceptance of the project. FISCAL IMPACf _ The project was completed within the available budget. No additional funds are needed. ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW This action was categorically exempt under Section 15301 (f) of the CEQA. ADDITIONAL PUBLIC NOTIFICATION AND CORRESPONDENCE None. RECOMMENDATION It is recommended that the City CouncilJRedevelopment Agency I. Formally accept the Auxiliary Generator Building <#5529) 2. Authorize the City Clerk to file and record a Notice of Completion. 3. Authorize the release of the retention for the amount of $8,777.70, if unencumbered, 40 days after filing the Notice of Completion. The amount of the contract was $87,777.00. FINDINGS There were no Change Orders, and the final contract amount remains the same at $87,777.00. ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW This project is categorically exempt under Section 15301(f) of the CEQA. FISCAL IMPACf The project was completed within the available budget. No addition funds were needed.
