SUBJECT: Award of Bid for 95-96 Citywide Striping (#407-4330)
ABSTRACT:
This proposal would award the 95-96 Citywide Striping (#407-4330) to Traffic
Operations, Inc. in the amount of $41,969.17. The contract time for the project is 30
working days.
FISCAL IMPACT
There are sufficient funds to complete the project.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
This project is exempt under Section 15301 of the CEQA.
ADDITIONAL PUBLIC NOTIFICATION AND CORRESPONDENCE
None.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council award the 95-96 Citywide Striping (#407-4330)
contract to Traffic Operations, Inc. in the amount of $41,969.17.

BACKGROUND
On October 18, 1995 bids were opened for the 95-96 Citywide Striping project.
The Engineer's Estimate was $60,000.00 to $70,000.00. The contract time for
this project is 30 working days.
FINDINGS
The following three (3) bids were received:
1. Traffic Operations, Inc. $41,969.17
2. Orange County Striping
Services, Inc. $48,442.88
3. ASAP Services, Inc. $49,845.05
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
This project is categorically exempt under Section 15301 of the CEQA.
FISCAL IMPACT
There are sufficient funds appropriated for the completion of the project.
