Phase I (#1803)
ABSTRACT
This proposal would reject the bids for construction of Del Poniente Sewer line.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
On June 6, 1995, the City Council issued a Mitigated Negative Declaration for this
-I'lroject. The mitigation measures, which have been under review for several months,
.nclude permit applications for biological and cultural resources. Due to delays in
issuing the permit, it is not likely that this project would be completed according to
the anticipated schedule.
FISCAL IMPACT
None.
ADDITIONAL PUBLIC NOTIFICATION AND CORRESPONDENCE
None.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council reject all bids for the Del Poniente Sewer
line.

BACKGROUND:
On July 6, 1995 bids were opened for the Del Poniente Sewer Line Phase I
project. The Engineer's Estimate for the base bid was $205,000 to $235,000.
The contract time for this project is 60 working days.

once the environmental permits are issued.
