ABSTRACT
This proposal would award the contract for the demolition and removal of the building
(Western Lumber) at 13137 Poway Road to Whillock Contracting, Inc" in the amount of
$19,000, The contract time for the project is 40 calendar days,
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
The proposed project is categorically exempt from CEQA under Class 1 Existing
hcil ities.
FISCAL IMPACT
There are sufficient funds budgeted in the library CIP account 5514 for this project.
ADDITIONAL PUBLIC NOTIFICATION AND CORRESPONDENCE
Additional notification sent to Whillock Contracting, Inc.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council/Agency award the contract for demolition and
removal of the building (Western Lumber) at 13137 Poway Road to Whillock Contracting,
Inc" in the amount of $19,000.

BACKGROUND
On November 17, 1995, bids were opened for the demolition and removal of the
building (Western Lumber) at 13137 Poway Road, The Engineer's Estimate was
$15,000 to $40,000, The contract time for this project is 40 calendar days.
