SUBJECT: Award of Bid for the ADA Building Alterations (1518)
ABSTRACT:
This proposal would award the ADA Building Alterations (1518) to Davis & Adams
Construction, Inc. in the amount of $48,500.00. The contract time for the project is
45 working days.
FISCAL IMPACT
There are sufficient funds to complete the project.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
This project is categorically exempt under Section 15301(f) of the CEQA.
ADDITIONAL PUBLIC NOTIFICATION AND CORRESPONDENCE
None.
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council award the ADA Building Alterations (1518)
contract to Davis & Adams Construction, Inc, in the amount of $48,500.00.

BACKGROUND
On November 30, 1995 bids were opened for the ADA Building Alterations
project. The Engineer's Estimate was $60,000 to $70,000. The contract time
for this project is 45 working days.
FINDINGS
The following six (6) bids were received:
1. Davis & Adams Construction, Inc. $48,500.00
2. The Wright Company $58,432.00
3. Blair Rasmussen Construction $66,100.00
4. CDM Construction $74,045.00
5. Parnell & Leonard, Inc. $77 ,396.00
6. Fordyce Construction $88,573.00
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW
This project is categorically exempt under Section I5301(f) of the CEQA.
FISCAL IMPACf
There are sufficient funds appropriated for the completion of the project.
