AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
AMENDING POWAY ZONING ORDINANCE 4600, et seq.
(HEIGHT REGULATIONS)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council finds that the intent of the Poway Community
Plan is to insure the existance of a rural residential environment within the
City of Poway. Intense urban development is deemed inconsistent with that
intent. The City Council finds that a maximum height for construction of thirty
(30) feet, allowing for two stories maximum, is reasonable urban development
consistent with the intent of the Poway Community Plan.
Section 2. Schedule B to Section 4610 of the City of Poway Zoning Ordinance
is amended to read as follows:

Section 3. Any height in excess of 35 feet requires a major use permit.
Introduced and first read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Poway held the 21st day of July, 1981, and thereafter PASSED, AND
ADOPTED at a regular meeting of said City Council held the 29th day of July,
1981 by the following vote:
