Ord 38ORDINANCE NO. 38 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA AMENDING POWAY ZONING ORDINANCE 4600, et seq. (HEIGHT REGULATIONS) THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Council finds that the intent of the Poway Community Plan is to insure the existance of a rural residential environment within the City of Poway. Intense urban development is deemed inconsistent with that intent. The City Council finds that a maximum height for construction of thirty (30) feet, allowing for two stories maximum, is reasonable urban development consistent with the intent of the Poway Community Plan. Section 2. Schedule B to Section 4610 of the City of Poway Zoning Ordinance is amended to read as follows: DESIGNATOR MAXIMUM HEIGHT (Feet) MAXIMUM NUMBER OF STORIES A 15 1 B 20 2 C 25 2 E 30 2 G 35 2 Section 3. Any height in excess of 35 feet requires a major use permit.
