A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
APPROVING DEVELOPMENT REVIEW 81-02 TIME EXTENSION
ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NUMBER 275-010-42
WHEREAS, Development Review 81-02 Time Extension, submitted by St. John
of Damascus Orthodox Church, applicant, requests to extend the expiration
date for building permit issuance until April 27, 1983 for Phase I
development for the property located on the north side of Espola Road, east
of Summerfield Lane, in the R-R-1 (Rural Residential) zone; and
WHEREAS, on November 9, 1982, the City Council held a hearing on the
above referenced item.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1: Findings:
That the proposed development is in conformance with the Poway
General Plan because it is compatible with residential land uses
in the area.
That the proposed development will not have an adverse aesthetic,
health, safety or architecturally related impact upon adjoining
properties because of design compatibility and appropriate
conditions of approval.
That the proposed development is in compliance with the Zoning
Ordinance because it meets or is conditioned to meet all zoning
requirements.

That the proposed development encourages the orderly and
harmonious appearance of structures and property within the City
because the project provides for the well being of City
residents.
Section 2: Environmental Findings:
The City Council finds that the Negative Declaration issued for the
Major Use permit 77-71 covers the issues environmentally for this
application.
Section 3: City Council Decision:
The City Council hereby approves Development Review 81-02TE, subject
to the following conditions:
Ail conditions of approval of the City of Poway Resolution P 81-
17 shall be fulfilled as required, except that the date of
expiration shall be extended for six months, from October 27, 1982,
until April 27, 1983. Building permits must be issued prior to
April 27, 1983, or this approval expires.
