WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Poway by Resolution No. 83-062
designated a redevelopment survey area (the "Survey Area") in connection with
the adoption of the Paguay l~development Plan (the "Plan") for the Paguay
R_~_~velopment Project; and
WHEREAS, the California (k~¥,%~nity Redevelopment Law (California Health and
Safety Code Section 33000, et seq. ) provides for the City Council as Planning
Agency to select a redevelopment project areal from within the boundaries of the
Survey Area and to fo£m~late a preliminary plan for the development of the
selected project area.
NO~, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL AS PLANNING AGENCY OF THE CITY OF POWAY
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The City Council as Planning Agency hereby selects the Paguay
Project Area (the "Area") from within the boundaries of the survey Area, and
hereby establishes as the bou~t_~ries thereof the area shown on the Area Map
attached hereto and incorporated herein as At%achment "A."
Section 2: The City Oouncil as planning Agency hereby approves and adopts the
Preliminary Plan formulated for the development of the selected Area, which
Preliminary Plan is dated August 23, 1983, and is in the form presented to this
body as of the date of this Resolution.
Section 3: The City Clerk as Secretary of the Planning Agency is hereby
authorized to submit the Preliminary Plan to the Agency of the City of Poway.
