RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF POWA¥ APPROVING THE REDEVELOPMENT
PLAN FOR THE PAGUAY REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT,
MAKING ITs REPORT AND RECOMMENDATION AS TO
THE PROJECT'S CONFORMITY WITH THE GENERAL
PLAN AND CERTIFYING AS TO THE REVIEW OF THE
DRAFT EIR
WHEREAS, proceedings have been initiated by the Poway
Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency") for the adoption of the
Redevelopment Plan (the "Redevelopment Plan") for the Paguay
Redevelopment Project (the "Project"); and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Poway has
reviewed the Redevelopment Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Plan provides for commercial,
industrial and residential uses, all in conformity with the
General Plan and Zoning Ordinances of the City of Poway; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Poway has
reviewed the Draft EIR for the adoption of the Redevelopment
Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved, determined, and ordered by
the Planning Commission of the City of Poway as follows:
SECTION 1. The Planning Commission of the City of Poway
hereby finds and determines that the Redevelopment Plan is in
conformity with the General Plan of the City of Poway.
SECTION 2. The Planning Commission of the City of Poway
hereby finds and determines that the location, purpose, and
extent of any acquisition or disposition of real property for
street, square, park, or other public purposes by the Agency
for the purposes of carrying out the Redevelopment Plan conform
to the General Plan of the City of Poway.
SECTION 3. The Planning Commission of the City of Poway
hereby recommends the approval of the Redevelopment Plan.
SECTION 4. The Planning Commission of the City of Poway
hereby certifies that it has reviewed and considered the
information contained in the Draft EIR for the adoption of the
Redevelopment Plan in making its report and recommendation
contained herein. Said Draft EIR is hereby approved.
SECTION 5. The Secretary of the Planning Commission of
the City of Poway hereby is authorized and directed to transmit
a copy of this Resolution to the City Council of the City of
Poway and to the Agency.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 25th day of October,
1983 at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the
City of Poway.
