Res P-84-14RESOLUTION NO. P-84-14 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA APPROVING MINOR DEVELOPMENT REVIEW 83-57 ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NUMBER 317-101-11 WHEREAS, Minor Development Review 83-57, submitted by U-Haul Company of San Diego, applicant, requests the expansion of an existing commercial truck rental and storage operation by the addition of a 3,000 square foot four-bay service area, three shade structures of 900 square feet each, one paint booth, one shot blast booth and fencing, and landscaping for property located at 13210 Poway Road, in the CG (Commercial General) zone; and, WHEREAS, on January 31, 1984, the City Council held a hearing on the above referenced item. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby resolve as follows: Section 1: Findings: 1. That the proposed development is in conformance with the Poway General Plan. That the proposed development will not have an adverse aesthetic, health, safety, or architecturally related impact upon adjoining properties, in that a masonry wall and landscaping along the rear property line will provide greater separation of commercial from residential uses. 3. That the proposed development is in compliance with the Zoning Ordinance. 4o That the proposed development does encourage the orderly and harmonious appearance of structures and property within the City, in that the building addition will match the existing structure architecturally. Section 2: Environmental Findings: This project will not have an adverse impact on the environment and a Negative Declaration is issued. Section 3: City Council Decision: The City Council hereby approves Minor Development Review 83-65 subject to the following conditions: Tree wells with 15-gallon trees 20 feet on center shall be installed and maintained along the inside of the masonry wall along the rear property line. The tree type shall be carrot wood· Resolution No. P-84-14 January 31, 1984 Page 2 2e A standard City trash enclosure (six-foot masonry wall with double solid wooden gate) capable of housing two trash receptacles shall be installed within the enclosed outdoor storage area. 3e Ail roof appurtenances shall be architecturally integrated, shielded from view, and sound buffered from adjacent properties and streets. 4e A speed bump shall be installed on the westerly driveway north of the westerly entrance to the building and a right turn only/exit only sign shall be installed at the driveway apron. Se The service bay addition shall be architecturally compatible with the existing building through the use of similar materials and colors. 6e The building address shall be placed on the existing building so as to be plainly visible from the street and contrasting with their background color.
