A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
APPROVING DEVELOPMENT REVIEW 84-25
ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NUMBER 317-471-13, 317-472-13
WHEREAS, Development Review 84-25, submitted by City of Poway,
applicant, requests approval of an addition to the Weingard Senior
Center located at 13094 Bowron Road, in the OS (Open Space) zone;
and,
WHEREAS, on October 23, 1984, the City Council held a hearing on
the above referenced item.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1: Findings:
That the proposed development is in conformance with
the Poway General Plan.

That the proposed development will not have an adverse
aesthetic, health, safety or architecturally related impact
upon adjoining properties.
That the proposed development is in compliance with the
Zoning Development Code.

That the proposed development encourages the orderly and
harmonious appearance of structures and property within the
City by complying with criteria of the Community Design
Element.
Section 2: Environmental Findings:..
A categorical exemption has been issued pursuant to the California
Environmental Quality Act and City of Poway Procedures to
Implement the California Environmental Quality Act.
Section 3: City Council Decision:
The City Council hereby approves Development Review 84-25 subject
to the following conditions:
The colors and materials of the addition (beige stucco and
dark brown wood trim) shall match the existing building.

The south facing slope shall be landscaped with plant
materials similar to the adjacent slope subject to the
satisfaction of the Director of Planning Services.

The satellite dish antenna shall be screened from view
subject to the satisfaction of the Director of Planning
Services.
