A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
APPROVING SIGN PERMIT 85-18
ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NUMBER 317-130-58
WHEREAS, sign Permit, SP 85-18, submitted by Poway Nissan,
applicant, requests a freestanding sign on the property located at
13760 poway Road, in the CC (Commercial Community) zone; and
WHEREAS, on May 14, 1985, the City Council held a hearing on the
above-referenced item.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1: Findings:
1. That the proposed development is in conformance with the
Poway General Plan.

That the proposed development will not have an adverse
aesthetic, health, safety, or architecturally related impact
upon adjoining properties.
3. That the proposed development is in compliance with the
Zoning Ordinance.

That the proposed development encourages the orderly and
harmonious appearance of structures and property within the
City.
Section 2: Environmental Findings:
The City Council finds that this project is Categorically Exempt,
Class 11.
Section 3: City Council Decision:
The City Council hereby approves Sign Permit, SP 85-18, subject
to the following condition:
1. The sign can be no more than eight feet in height and no more
than 40 square feet of sign area.
APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway,
