A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
APPROVING MINOR DEVELOPMENT REVIEW 85-13
ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NUMBER 317-490-55
~EREAS, Minor Development Review 85-13, submitted by, Poway
Center Limited, applicant, requests to construct an 1,100 square
foot flower shop for the property located at 12845 Poway Road in the
CG (Commercial General) zone; and
WHEREAS, on May 14, 1985, the City Council held a hearing on the
above-referenced item.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby resolve as
follows:

That the proposed development is in conformance with the
Poway General Plan.
That the proposed development will not have an adverse
aesthetic, health, safety or architecturally related impact
upon adjoining properties.
That the proposed development is in compliance with the
Zoning Ordinance.

That the proposed development encourages the orderly and
harmonious appearance of structures and property within the
City.
Section 2: Environmental Findings:
The project is categorically exempt under Section 15303 of the
California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
Section 3: City Council Decision:
The City Council hereby approves Minor Development Review 85-13
subject to the following conditions:
The exterior building material shall be beige stucco with
dark brown wood trim to match the existing parapet
materials.

The applicant shall agree to grant reciprocal parking and
access to Carriage Lanes.

The proposed building shall be relocated approximately
forty feet to the east to the satisfaction of the Director
of Planning Services.
Six foot wide colored and/or textured concrete pathways
shall be incorporated in and around the proposed building
and extend east to attach to the walkway in front of the
Sizzler Restaurant. A plan delineating the installation
of the textured concrete shall be coordinated with the
remaining concrete walkways and shall be submitted to the
Director of Planning Services by August 1, 1985 or prior
to building permit issuance, whichever comes first.
Signs proposed for the structure shall be consistent with
the Comprehensive Sign Program for the Carriage Center.
Portions of parking stalls or planter areas not encumbered
by building or walkways shall be landscaped and subject to
the satisfaction of the Director of Planning Services.
Restripe parking lot to the satisfaction of the Director of
Planning Services to conform to current City Standards with
regard to width of the space.
APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway,
State of California, this 14th day of May, 1985.
