A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA,
APPROVING PAYMENT FOR SEWER PUMP STATION UPGRADES
IN CONJUNCTION WITH OLD COACH GOLF ESTATES TTM 89-13R
WHEREAS, Old Coach Golf Estates TTM 89-13R (TTM 89-13R) was approved
by the City Council per Resolution No. P-90-91 on November 27, 1990; and
WHEREAS, TTM 89-13R was conditioned to construct, among other things, a
sewer pump station to service the development; and
WHEREAS, said sewer pump station improvements were designed to
accommodate more than the needs of TTM 89-13R; and
WHEREAS, said sewer improvements include the upsizing (upgrade) of the
sewer pump station; and
WHEREAS, said upgrade to the sewer pump station would eliminate the existing
St. Andrews City sewer pump station, presently located in the backyard of a residential
structure, upon construction of a gravity sewer line to the sewer pump station in
TTM 89-13R; and
WHEREAS, the impending elimination of the St. Andrews pump station would
reduce the City's maintenance responsibility to this aging station; and
WHEREAS, Northpoint Development, Inc. has requested payment from the City
for the sewer pump station upgrades, and
WHEREAS, the City Council on May 6, 2003, approved payment of $150,000.00
to Northpoint Development, Inc. for the sewer pump station upgrades;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway
as follows:
1. Approve the payment of $150,000.00 for the sewer pump station upgrades.
