A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
COMMENDING EAGLE SCOUT
CLOYD JESSE BEDKE, JR.
WHEREAS, Cloyd Jesse Bedke, Jr. has fulfilled requirements in the areas of
leadership, service, and outdoor skills; and
WHEREAS, Cloyd Jesse Bedke, Jr. has advanced through the ranks of Scout,
Tenderfoot, 2nd Class, 1st Class, Star, Life, and Eagle; and
WHEREAS, Cloyd Jesse Bedke, Jr. has obtained 26 merit badges in various
educational, community-oriented, and sporting activities, which signify the mastery of
Scoutcraft skills; and
WHEREAS, Cloyd Jesse Bedke, Jr. has completed the community service
project demonstrating participatory and leadership skills within his patrol and/or troop.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Poway hereby commends Eagle Scout CIoyd Jesse Bedke, Jr. for his efforts and
achievements in Scouting.
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway
at the regular meeting this 20th day of May, 2003.
