P-88-74 A OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA USE PERMIT 87-17 AND REVIEW 87-20 PARCEL NUMBER 323-060-25 Conditional use Permit 87-17 and Development Review 87-20, submitted by Poway Baptist Church, applicant, requests approval of a two phase development plan that will construct a new sanctuary, fellowship hall, and education building at 14315 Garden Road in the RS-7 zone; and, WHEREAS, the sewer capacity allocation lan contained in Ordinance No. 246 does not pecifically pro ide sewer capacity for the subject project and wou d require that he applicants obtain the 2.55 EDUs contained in he category Ordnance No. 246 designa- tes as "Other Projects"; an , No. 246 requires that certain findings be made when sewer capacity from the "Other Projects" category is allocated to a project. on June 28, 1988, the City Council held a hearing on the above-referenced item. In addition, the church supports neig groups by providing meeting rooms. The proposed development encourages the orderly and h r- monious appearance of stru tures and property within he City because it complies w th the design guidelines 0 the General Plan and proposes ildings that are similar n size and architectural sty e to other churches and resi- dences in the City. That the project is a new sanctuary, fellowship hall, and ducation building for semi-public use and will be located n the RS-7 zone.
