A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
DENYING AN APPEAL OF MINOR DEVELOPMENT
REVIEW APPLICATION (MDRA) 13-023
ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NUMBER 323-010-37
WHEREAS, MDRA 13-023 is a proposal to construct a 1,248-square-foot
manufactured home and a 576-square-foot garage on a 0.51-acre lot on the northern
portion of Ann-O-Reno Lane, in the Rural Residential C (RR-C) zone; and
WHEREAS, MDRA 13-023 was approved by City staff on July 15, 2014; and
WHEREAS, Section 2.20.20 of the Poway Municipal Code (PMC) provides for
the appeal of administrative decisions, and on July 25, 2014, an appeal was filed
regarding the approval of MDRA 13-023; and
WHEREAS, on August 19, 2014, the City Council at a public meeting considered
comments from the public, both pro and con, relative to this appeal.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway
as follows:
Section 1: An appeal of an administrative decision is not a project as defined under
the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
Section 2: The appeal of the approval of MDRA 13-023 is denied.
Section 3: The approval of MDRA 13-023 by City staff on July 15, 2014, remains in
full force and effect.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway
at a regular meeting this 19th day of August 2014.
