P-89-67 A OF THE CIT' UNCIL OF T C TY OF POWAY, C L ORNIA AMENDING E OUTH POWAY PLA N COMMUNITY S CI IC PLAN (SPA 8 - ) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Poway recognizes that the need may arise to amend the City's General Plan; and WHEREAS, Section 65350, et seq., of the California the procedures for amending General Plans; and Code describes WHEREAS, on July 30, 1985, the City Council adopted a resolution approving the South Poway Planned Community Planned Community (SPPC) Development Plan, and said plan has been prepared and adopted as a specific plan, and provides for the of the Poway General Plan; and WHEREAS, Volume 2 (Development Standards) of the SPPC Development Plan con- tains procedures for amending the subject Development Plan; and WHEREAS, the City of Poway received an application from W & S Commercial/James Chrisman, applicant, (SPA 89-02) ~ amendments to the text of the adopted South Poway PC Specific Plan (Volume 2, Development Standards); and WHEREAS, on June 27, 1989, the City Council of the City of Poway held a pro- perly noticed public h~aring in with the California Code and the California E 1 Quality Act (CEQA) to consider the proposed amendment. NOW, I BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby amend the text of the South Poway Specific Plan (Volume 2) as follows: r 3 - Industrial and Commercial Section III - Industrial and Subsection III.
