WHE EAS, Tentative Tract Map 84-02A submitted by Jorge Engle and ENSAL
Corpora ion, applicants, requests amendment of Resolution P-84-048 to exempt Lot
4 from he standard for split level construction for the property located at
13225 S one Canyon Road in the RR-C zone; and
WHEREAS, on August 22, 1989 the City Council held a hearing on the above-
~ item.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1: E :
A Negative Declaration is issued for this amendment to Tentative Tract Map
84-02.
Section 2: :
That the proposed amendment is in with the Poway General
Plan in that the modification to the split level requirement will not
with the objective of avoiding y landform altera-
tion.

That the portion of Lot 4 designated as the proposed graded pad area is
physically suitable for development of a residence.
That the minor d velopment review application will consider specific
fact rs such as riveway access to Stone Canyon Road, length and vlsi-
bill y of the dr veway, need for a fire hydrant, proximity of the pro-
pose residence o nearby and design of the residence to
blen with the surroundings.
That the conditions of approval for TTM 84-02 are applicable to the
residential development of Lot 4.

The City Council hereby amends Resolution P-84-048 so that Section 2,
Condition No. 3 reads as follows:
Any residential construction proposed in areas of 15 to 25 percent
natural slope shall utilize multiple foundations or other structural
techniques (extended foundations) which minimize the amount of grading.
However, Lot 4 shall be relieved from the required use of multiple

foundations providing that: no grading shall be allowed above the 690
foot contour 11ne, the house pad elevation shall be limited to 670 foot
elevatlon, and the maxlmum cut slope shall be 17 feet hlgh while the
maximum flll slope shall not exceed 14 feet.
APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council, of the City of Poway, State of
