WHEREAS, Development Re'lew 88-12TE, submitted by Dr's. Augustine and
Switzer, applicants, reques a six month time extension for DR 88-12, which
approved the construction o a 4,992 square-foot 1 sales and warehouse
building. The property is ocated on Midland Road in the CG {
General) zone; and
WHEREAS, on August 29, 1989, the City Council held a hearing on the above-
item.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1: Envtronmenta
The Negative Declaration issued on October 1, 1985 satisfies the requirement
of CEQA.
Sectt :
That the proposed development is in conformance with the Poway General
Plan in that the General Plan designates the site for 1 devel-
opment.

That the proposed development will not have an adverse aesthetic,
health, safety, or architecturally related impact upon adjoining prop-
erties.
That the proposed development is in compliance with the Zoning
Ordinance in that all development standards will be met through project
construction.
That the proposed development encourages the orderly and
appearance of structures and property within the City in hat the pro-
posed building will incorporate architectural details, and
colors that will be complementary to Poway's rural charac er.

That the proposed development is in conformance with the Old Poway
Specific Plan in that the architecture reflects a t :entury
theme.
Decision:
The City Council hereby approves Development Review 88-12TE subject to the
following conditions:
Within 30 days of approval, the applicant shall submit in writing that
all conditions of approval have been read and understood.

2. All conditions of approval of the City of Poway No. P-88-93
shall apply.
3. DR 88-12TE shall expire on February 30, 1990 and no further time exten-
sions can be granted.
APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway, State of
