WHEREAS, Conditional Use Permit 88-15TE and Development Review 88-16TE, sub-
mitted by R & R Partners - Poway, applicant, requests a time extension to allow
construction of a 6,820 square foot building and )h quick
lube in Twin Peaks Plaza which is located at the southeast corner of Twin Peaks
Road and Pomerado Road; and
WHEREAS, on September 5, 1989 the City Council held a hearing on the above
referenced item.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby resolve as follows:

The Negative Declaration issued on September 6, 1988 satisfies the require-
ments of CEQA.

That the location, size, design, and operating of the
proposed use will be compatible with and will no adversely affect or
be materially detrimental to adjac nt uses, resi ents, buildings,
structures, or natural n that the au o service use will
adjoin commercial uses on three si es and the qu ck-lube use will not
generate noise or any ot er impact which would be
to adjacent uses.
That the harmony in scale, bulk, coverage, and density is
with adjacent uses, in that the proposed building is
compatible with existing commercial buildings on the site.

that sewer and water service is available for the project.

dential deve opment in the vicinity and is designed to blend with adja-
