WHEREAS, Comp Sign Program 89-01, submitted by Innovative Graphics,
Inc., applicant, requests approval of a comprehensive sign program for the
property located at the southwest corner of Poway Road and Pomerado Road.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1:
The proposed comp sign program is in compliance with the
contained in Section 17.40.010 of the Zoning Development Code.
Section 2: Cit )ctsion
The City Council hereby approves Comprehensive Sign Program 89-01 subject
to the following conditions:
Within 30 days of approval the applicant shall submit in writing that
all conditions of approval have been read and understood.

The Miller's Outpost monument sign shall be removed prior to issuance
of any sign permits on APN: 317-151-42, 43, 50, or 51.
The pole and framework for the Liquor Barn sign shall be removed prior
to issuance of any sign permits on APN: 3 (old Liquor Barn
store).
All new signs within the center shall conform to the sign criteria and
design guidelines contained in Attachments 3 through 8 of the agenda
report for CSP 89-01 dated October 3, 1989.
Approval of this request shall not waive compliance with Section
17.40.010 of the Zoning Development Code and all other applicable City
in effect at the time of sign permit
Ground signs shall be located in a landscaped area at least 85 square
feet in size. Landscaping of this area shall include shrubs, ground-
cover, and a permanent irrigation system.

The proposed wall sign for shall be modified to limit secon-
dary copy to the words art & craft supply.
Be
The sign criteria for major tenants shall be modified to state that
such signs shall conform to the City of Poway Comprehensive Sign
regulations.
