WHEREAS, Tentative Tract Ma No. 86-04TE, hereinafter "Map" su mitted by
Schuss, Clark, and Associates, p licants, for the purpose of subd iding the
real property situated in the t of Poway, County of San Diego, ate of
California, described as a por o of the southeast quarter of Sec on 2,
Township 14 South, Range 2 Wes , an Bernardino Base Meridian, Coun y of San
Diego, State of California, in o en lots, regularly came before the City
Council for public hearing and ac ion on October 17, 1989; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Planning Services has recommended approval of the
map subject to all conditions set forth in the Planning Services Department
report; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has read and considered said report and has con-
sidered other evidence presented at the public hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Poway does resolve as
follows:
The City Council finds that the previously issued Negative Declaration ade-
quately discusses the environmental concerns of this project.
The City Council makes the following findings in regard to Tentative Tract
No. 86-04TE(2) and the map thereof:
The tentative tract map time extension is consistent with all appli-
cable general and specific plans because it meets all objectives and
policies for residential development.

The design or improvement of the tentative tract map is consistent with
all applicable general and specific plans because it meets General Plan
criteria for residential design and improvements.
The site is physically suitable for the type of development proposed
because it is flat and involves no constraints to the type of develop-
ment proposed.

The design of the subdivision is not ltkely to cause substantial

9. That this project will not create adverse impacts on the t
and a Negative Declaratlon has been tssued with mitigation for

Tentative Tract Map No. 86-04TE(2) is hereby approved subject to all of the
following conditions:
Within 30 days of approval, the applicant shall submit in writing that
all conditions of approval have been read and understood.
Approval of TTM 86-04TE(2) is based on its conformance with the con-
ditions contained in City Council Resolution P-86-73 and P-88-103.
This time extension shall expire on October 17, lggo unless a request for an
additional time is received 90 days prior to expiration.
APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the/C"Ity of Poway, State of
California, this 17th day of October, 1989.
