A OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY,
AMENDING SPECIFIC PLAN 88-02
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Poway recognizes that the need may
arise to amend the City's General Plan; and
WHEREAS, Section 65350 et seq., of the California Government Code describes
the procedures for amending General Plans; and
WHEREAS, on March 29, 1988 the City Council adopted a resolution approving
Specific Plan 88-02, and said plan has been prepared and adopted as a specific
plan and provides for the systematic implementation of the City of Poway General
Plan; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 17.47 of the Zoning Development Code contains p
amending Specific Plans; and
for
WHEREAS, the City Council has initiated Specific Plan Amendment 88-02A
involving a revision to the list of permitted uses within the plan area; and
WHEREAS, on December 12, 1989 the City Council held a duly advertised
public hearing in accordance with California Government Code and the California
E tal Quality Act {CEQA) to consider the proposed amendments; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has ~ the potential 1 impacts
of the proposed amendment and determined that they will not cause any signifi-
cant adverse environmental impacts and hereby issues a Negative Declaration.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council does hereby amend the
text of Specific Plan 88-02 as follows. Words which are lined out are to be
omitted from the plan and words with the dashed underline are to be added to the
plan text:
