Res P-90-22 RESOLUTION NO. P- 90-22 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA APPROVING TEHPORARY USE PERNIT 90-06 WHEREAS, Temporary Use Permit 90-06, Red Robin-Ky Golf Classic, applicant, requests approval to hold a LPGA golf tournament at StoneRidge Country Club; and WHEREAS, on March 27, lg90, the City Council held a hearing on the above- referenced item. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Poway does resolve as follows: Section 1: Envtronmen : Pursuant to the procedure of the City of Poway, implementing the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970, the above-referenced project is categori- cally exempt, Class 4{el and 11{c). Section 2: Fln~ : That the proposed use is in accordance with the purposes and standards of Section 17.26.030 of the Zoning Development Code. Section 3: :lslon: The City Council hereby approves Temporary Use Permit 90-06 subject to the following conditions: The tournament and related off-site parking shall be conducted as shown on the approved location map on file in the Planning Services Department. 2. This approval shall become null and void on April g, 1990. The applicant shall obtain an insurance bond indemnifying the City of Poway from possible liability in an amount not less than $1 million. Approval of this activity does not waive compliance with all other sec- tions of the Zoning Ordinance and other applicable ordinances presently in effect. Public streets and areas within and adjo ning the proposed parking for the event shall be cleared of debris, an litter, on a daily basis. Temporary signage, barricades, cones, an any other evidence of the event shall be removed upon its complet on. Resolution No. P- 90-22 Page 2 Temporary power will be from the power approved per TUP 89-08. Within 180 days of event completion, the applicant shall underground the overhead Contact SDG&E Planning Division at 480-7617. e No on-street parking shall be permitted along Espola Road. "No Parking" signs shall be posted where necessary. Be Erosion control shall be re-established on any dirt lots used for tem- porary parking. ® The applicant shall contact the Sheriff's Department prior to the event to determine the specific needs for traffic control on Espola Road. The cost of providing Sheriff Department personnel for traffic control shall be borne by the applicant. 10. All tents shall have a State Fire Marshal Certificate of Flame Resistance and approval. 11. All tents to be erected must have building permits and inspections prior to use. 12. Fire access roadways shall not be blocked. 13. Fi re extinguishers shall be placed at locations determined by the Department of Safety Services. 14. All electric works shall meet current code requirements. 15. The applicant shall obtain any necessary County Health Department approvals for the proposed food concessions. 16. Temporary directional signs shall be located behind sidewalk areas and placed so that they do not interfere with visibility for vehicles. The signs shall not exceed two feet by four feet in dimension and shall be weighted down to ensure stability.
