APPROVING CC ~IVE SIGN PROGRAM ~TION 87-03(M)

Comprehensive Sign Program Modification 87-03(M),
F. T. Von Der Ahe Company, applicant, requests approval of a
modification to the comprehensive sign program for Poway Plaza
located at the southwest corner of Poway and Community Roads; and
on January 14, 1992, the City Council held a hearing
to review the proposed sign program modification.
NOW, the City Council does hereby resolve as
follows:
The sign program modification is exempt from ~al
Review under Category 11 of the CEQA Guidelines which includes
on-premises signs.
The proposed comprehensive sign program is in compliance with
the standards contained in Section 17.40.010 of the Zoning
Ordinance.
The City Council hereby approves Comprehensive Sign Program
Modification 87-03(M) subject to the following conditions:
within 30 days of approval the applicant shall submit in
writing that all conditions of approval have been read
and
Ail signs within the center shall conform to the sign
criteria contained in City Council Resolution P-88-20
except as modified herein.
Minor tenants which are part of a chain of stores with a
nationally recognized sign design, may utilize letter
styles other than Helvetica; however, all minor tenant
signage shall be ivory in color.
Appr val of this request shall not waive compliance with
Sect on 17.40.010 of the Zoning and all other
appl cable City ordinances in effect at the time of sign
