A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
ESTABLISHING AN AD -HOC COMMITTEE FOR THE
POWAY ROAD CORRIDOR STUDY (PRCS) PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Poway has determined a need to prepare
the Poway Road Corridor Study (PRCS) to address planning, land use and transportation
issues along Poway Road, and
WHEREAS, the City desires to provide a way for residents, local businesses,
stakeholders, and other interested parties to provide input on the PRCS project, and
WHEREAS, the City desires to establish an Ad -Hoc Committee for the PRCS, and
WHEREAS, the PRCS Ad -Hoc Committee established hereunder shall have the
membership listed herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Poway, as
follows:
Section 1: A nine (9) member Ad -Hoc Committee for the PRCS is hereby established.
Members are expected to provide input and feedback on concept alternatives, draft plans
and the final plan.
Section 2: Membership of the Ad -Hoc Committee for the PRCS shall consist of a Poway
resident, a Poway Road business owner, a Poway Business Chamber member, a
Commercial broker, a Land use and design professional, a Poway Developer, a
Transportation Planner, a Poway Road Auto Dealer Owner, and a Housing professional.
Section 3: The City Manager shall have the authority to appoint the Ad -Hoc Committee
members to each of the positions.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Poway
at a regular meeting this 13th day of January 2015.
