A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
APPROVING TEMPORARY USE PERMIT g2-44
WHEREAS, Temporary Use Permit 92-44, United States Marine Corps, applicant,
requests approval to convoy a group of 100 - 150 Marines along Pomerado Road
through Poway in celebration of Camp Pendleton's BOth y; and
WHEREAS, on September 15, 1992, the City Council held a hearing on the
above-referenced item.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby resolve as follows:
Pursuant to the procedure of the City of Poway, implementing the
California E tal Quality Act of 1970, the above-referenced project
is categorically exempt, Class 4(e) and 11(c).
That the proposed use is in accordance with the purposes and standards of
Section 17.26.030 of the Zoning Ordinance.
The City Council hereby approves Temporary Use Permit 92-44 subject to the
following conditions:
The convoy shall be conducted as shown on the approved location map
on file in the Planning Services Department.
2. This approval shall become null and void on September 23, 1992.
Approval of this activity does not waive compliance with all other
sections of the Zoning Ordinance and other applicable ordinances
presently in effect.
4. The convoy shall obey all traffic sign and exercise caution
necessary for safely transporting a group of that size.
Public streets and areas within and adjoining the proposed area for
the event shall be cleared of debris, and litter after the event.
Temporary signage, barricades, and any other evidence of the event
shall be removed upon its completion.
6. P to stop and display equipment at school shall be obtained
from the Poway Unified School District.
