WHEREAS, Comprehensive Sign Program 92-04 submitted by La Jolla Mortgage
Company, applicant, requests approval of a comprehensive sign program for the
office/retail/service center located at 12751Poway Road and 13206 Carriage Road
in the CO (Commercial Office) zone.
WHEREAS, On December 1, 1992, the City Council held a hearing on the above
referenced item.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby resolve as follows:

The sign program is exempt for tal review under Category 11 of
CEQA Guidelines which includes on-premises signs.
he proposed comprehensive sign program as modified is in compliance with
he Commercial Design section of the Community Design Element of the Poway
eneral Plan and consistent with the emerging standards being developed
or the Poway Road Specific Plan.

The City Council hereby a proves that portion of the Comprehensive Sign
Program 92-04 oncerned w th size, placement, configuration and color of
wall signs sub ct to the ollowing conditions, and denies the request for
modification o the frees anding monument signs without prejudice should
a new applicat on be brought forward:
Within 30 days of approval the applicant shall submit in writing
that all conditions of approval have been read and understood.
All signs within the complex shall conform to the sign criteria and
design guidelines contained in the agenda report for Comprehensive
Sign Program dated December 1, 1992 and attachments thereto.
Approval of this request shall not waive compliance with Section
17.40.010 of the Zoning Ordinance and all other applicable City
ordinances in effect at the time of sign permit
