WHEREAS, the Ci y Council acting as the Planning Agency held a meeting on
April 6, 1993, to cons der the Amendment to th Redevelopment Plan for the Paguay
Redevelopment Project rea (the "Amendment"), o make a report nd recommendation
as to its conformity w th the General Plan of t e City Poway (t e "General Plan")
and to transmit the report to the Redevelopmen Agency of the ~ty of Poway (the
"Agency") and to the City Council of the City of Poway (the "C y Council"); and
WHEREAS, proceedings have been initiated for the adoption of the Amendment;
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 3 346 of the California Community
Redevelopment Law (Health and Safety Code ections 33000 e~t. seq.) the Agency has
submitted the Amendment to the City Counci and acting as the Planning Agency for
its report and recommendations ) he Amendment and its conformity to the
General Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Council sitting as the Planning Agency has reviewed the
Amendment; and
WHEREAS, the following findings of fact have been made in regard to the
Amendment and its conformity to the General Plan:
The City Council as Planning Agency hereby finds and determines that
the Amendment is in conformity with the General Plan.
The City Council as Planning Agency hereby finds and determines that
the location, purpose and extent of any acquisition or disposition
of real property for street, park, public space, or other public
purpose by the Agency for the purposes of carrying out the Amendment
conforms to the General Plan.
The City Council as Planning Agency hereby recommends the approval
of the Amendment.
This Resolution shall constitute the report and recommendation of
the City Council, Planning Agency to the Redevelopment Agency and
City Council pursuant to Section 33346 of the California Community
Redevelopment Law.

NOW THEREFORE, The City Council as the Planning Agency of the City of Poway
does hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION l: The above recitals are all true and correct.
SECTION 2: The City Manager is hereby authorized to submit the Amendment
and the Planning Agency's Report and recommendations to the Agency and City
Council.
SECTION 3: The City Clerk shall certify the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED, by the City Council of Poway, California,
at a regular meeting thereof this 6th day of April, 1993.
