WHEREAS, Temporary Use Permit 93-14, submitted by the Chamber of Commerce,
applicant, requests approval for a circus to be located at 12350 and 12360
McIvers Court in the South Poway Planned C and
WHEREAS, on April 20, 1993, the City Council held a duly advertised public
hearing to solicit comments from the public, both pro and con, relative to this
application.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby resolve as follows:

Pursuant to the procedures of the City of Poway implementing the
California E tal Quality Act of 1970, the above-referenced project
is Categorically Exempt, Class 4.

The proposed use is in accordance with the purposes and standards of
Section 17.26.020 of the Zoning Ordinance.
Section 3: ~ ion:
The City Council hereby approves Temporary Use Permit 93-14 subject to the
following conditions:
Upon approval the applicant shall submit in writing that all conditions of
approval have been read and understood.
COMPLIANCE WITH THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS IS REQUIRED.
APPROVED BY THE DEPARTNENT OF PLANNING SERVICES.

SITE DEVELOPNENT
Site shall be developed in accordance with the approved site plans on file
in the Planning Services Department, except as may otherwise be provided
herein, prior to t of the activity.
The proposed 32 square foot off-site special events sign, which is to be
located on the southeast corner lot of Poway and Community Roads shall not
exceed eight feet in height from grade. The applicant shall obtain
approval from the subject property owner prior to installing the sign.
Any necessary permits for electrical power shall be secured from the
Building Division and inspections shall be conducted before power is
allowed to be used.

Inspection from the State Division of Industrial Safety shall be obtained
for any amusement rides or equipment.
Parking for ly 1,000 vehicles shall be provided on-site.
All temporary signs for the circus must be approved by the Director of
Planning Services prior to installation.
7. All temporary signs shall be removed by April 26, 1993.
COHPLIANCE WITH THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS IS REQUIRED. COHPLIANCE SHALL
APPROVED BY THE DEPARTNENT OF SAFETY SERVICES.
Article 32 of the Uniform Fire Code shall be observed.
