WHEREAS, Conditional Use Permit 92-10, was submitted by Richard Dart, owner
and applicant, for the purpose of establishing a family entertainment center,
including a mini grand-prix race track and game arcade, located at 12597 Poway
Road in the City of Poway, County of San Diego, State of California; and
WHEREAS, on April 20, 1993, the City Council held a public hearing on the
above-referenced item.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1: F :
The location, size, design and operating characteristics of the
proposed use will not be compatible with and may adversely affect or
be materially detrimental to adjacent uses, residents, buildings,
structures, or natural The location of the fun center
adjacent to an existing bowling alley may contribute to a crime
problem in the immediate vicinity.
The scale, bulk, coverage and density is not consistent with
adjacent uses in that the property is bounded on the rear by single
family residential property which is found to be incompatible with
the race car activity.

The City Council hereby denies Conditional Use Permit 92-10 subject to the
findings listed above.
APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway, State of
