WHEREAS, Tentative Tract Map 93-01TE, hereinafter "Map" submitted by Frank
E. ier on, Sr., owner, Fayco applicant, for the purpose of
sub ivi lng the real property situated in the City of Poway, County of San Diego,
Sta e o California, into six lots, regularly came before the City Council for
pub ic earing and action on June 8, 1993; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Planning Services has recommended approval of the
map subject to all conditions set forth in the Planning Services Department
report; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has read and considered said report and has
considered other evidence presented at the public hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Poway does resolve as
follows:

The City Council finds that the previously issued Negative Declaration
with miti ation measures adequately discusses the 1 concerns
of this roject, but acknowledges the new federal requirement that
additiona clearances be obtained from the appropriate authority prior to
grading o the subject property due to the presence of the Coastal Sage
Scrub plant located within the proposed limits of grading.

coastal sage scrub, the habitat of the California gnat atcher which has

required by the Gate Drive Specific Plan.
The design of the subdivision is not likely to cause substantial

The effect of subdivision approval on the housing needs of the San
Diego region has been considered and balanced against the public
service needs of Poway residents and available fiscal and

opportunities in the subdivision.
Section 3: Cit Council
The City Council hereby approves Tentative Tract Map 93-01 subject to
the following conditions:
Within 30 days of approval the applicant shall submit in writing
that all conditions of approval have been read and understood.
Approval of Tentative Tract Map 93-01 is based on its conformance
with the conditions contained in City Council Resolution P-91-42.
The map approval shall expire on July 16, 1994. An
application for time extension must be received 90 days prior to
expiration in accordance with the City's Subdivision Ordinance.
APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway, State of
California, this 8th day of June 1993.
