WH REAS, Sign Permit 93-27 submitted by Sue Murdock, B & C Enterprises,
applican , and Howard L. Paine, owner, requests approval of a 15 foot high
ground s gn for an existing office/retail/service center located at 13055 Poway
Road in he CG (Commercial General) zone; and
WHEREAS, City Council Resolution No. 85-067 established a policy that
freestanding signs could not exceed eight feet in height unless the City Council
found that extraordinary circumstances exist which warrant the additional height;
and
WHEREAS, on July 27, 1993, the City Council held a hearing to review the
above-referenced item.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby resolve as follows:

The sign is exempt from tal review under Category 11 of the
California E tal Quality Act guidelines which includes on-premises
signs.
Secti :
There are circumstances which support the request for a 15 foot high sign
which include the siting and design of the existing building as outlined
in the staff report dated July 27, 1993.
Council Decision:
The City Council hereby approves Sign Permit 93-27.
APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway, State of
California, this 27th day of July, 1993.
