WHEREAS, Comprehensive Sign Program 79-06M, Michael Pinto Trust and Samuel
and Pamela Goldstein, Owners, Steve Hirschhorn, Applicant, requests approval of
a modification to the comprehensive sign program for the Carriage Center located
at 12845 Poway Road within the Commercial General zone; and
WHEREAS, on August 16, 1994, the City Council held a hearing to review the
proposed sign program modification.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby resolve as follows:
The sign program modification is exempt from tal review under
Class 11 of the CEQA Guidelines which includes on-premises signs.
The comprehensive sign program is in compliance with the standards
contained in Section 17.40.010 of the Zoning Ordinance.
)uncil Decision:
The City Council hereby approves Comprehensive Sign Program 79-06M subject
to the following conditions:
Within 30 days of approval the applicant shall submit in writing
that all conditions of approval have been read and understood.
All signs within the center shall conform to the sign criteria as
approved by the County Planning Department on March 16, 1979 and the
Poway Planning Department on July 8, ]983, as shown on Attachment C
and D, respectively, of the subject agenda report (CSP 79-06M),
except as modified herein.
The maximum number of wall signs permitted per Center tenant is one
(1) per business frontage and/or parking lot (including parking in
the rear) with a maximum of three signs for any one business.
Approval of this request shall not waive compliance with Section
17.40.010 of the Zoning Ordinance and all other applicable City
ordinances in effect at the time of sign permit '
