WHEREAS, Modification of Comprehensive Sign Program Modification 85-
01/Development Review 84-18, Burnham Pacific Properties Inc., applicant, requests
approval of a modification to the comprehensive sign program for Poway (Lucky's)
Shopping Center located at 12624 Poway Road; and
WHEREAS, on January 17, 1995, the City Council held a hearing to review the
proposed sign program modification.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby resolve as follows:
Section i :
The sign program modification is exempt from 1 review under
Category 11 of the CEQA Guidelines which includes on-premises signs.
The approved changes to the comprehensive sign program are in compliance
with the standards contained in Section 17.40.010 of the Zoning Ordinance.
Section 3: Cit Council
The City Council hereby approves modification of Comprehensive Sign
Program 85-01/Development Review 84-18, subject to the following
conditions:
Within 30 days of approval (1) the applicant shall submit in writing
that all conditions of approval have been read and understood.
All signs within the center shall conform to the originally adopted
sign criteria, except as modified herein.
Rohm and Haas illuminated individual channel lettering style shall
be used.
4. Per i e color choices shall include the following only:
a. 0 blue)
b. 2 red)
c. I green)
d. ivory)
5. Black letter returns shall be used.

The width of the tenant fascia sign shall not exceed 80 percent of
the storefront width. Signs shall be centered on store unless prior
approvals are obtained from the Owner and the City of Poway.

Approval of this request shall not waive compliance with Section
17.40.010 of the Zoning Ordinance and all other applicable City
ordinances in effect at the time of sign permit '
APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway, State of
California, this 17th day of January, 1995.
