A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
APPROVING TEMPORARY USE PERMIT 95-19
HEREAS, Temporary Use Permit 95-19, submitted by Jack Cook/Pomerado
Commun ty Band and the City of Poway, applicants, requests approval to hold a
commun ty band festival on May 20, 1995 and May 21, 1995 in the Old Poway Park
which s located in the Open Space Recreation zone; and
WHEREAS, on May 16, 1995, the City Council held a duly advertised public
hearing to solicit comments from the public, both pro and con, relative to this
application.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby resolve as follows:

Pursuant t the procedures of the City of Poway implemen ing the
California 1 Quality Act of 1970, the above-reference project
is Categor cally Exempt, Class 4 in that the event is a minor emporary
use of lan that will have negligible effects on the

The use is in accordance with the purposes and standards of Section
17.26.020 of the Zoning Ordinance.

The City Council hereby approves Temporary Use Permit 95-19 subject to the
following conditions:
Upon approval the applicant shall submit in writing that all conditions of
approval have been read and understood.
COMPLIANCE WITH THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS IS REQUIRED.
APPROVED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING SERVICES.
COMPLIANCE SHALL BE
SITE DEVELOPMENT
Site shall be developed in accordance with the approved site plans on file
in the Planning Services Department and the conditions contained herein.
Any necessary permits for electrical power shall be secured from the
Building Services Division and inspections shall be conducted before power
is allowed to be used.
Approval of this request shall not waive compliance with all sections of
the Zoning Ordinance and all other applicable City Ordinances in effect at
the time of building permit
4. All temporary signs shall be removed by May 22, 1995.

Written authorization shall be obtained from the property owners of all
privately owned lots used for event parking and shall be provided to the
Planning Services Department prior to the date(s) of the festival.
6. All event parking shall be provided free of charge.
7. Additional restroom facilities shall be provided.
8. Emergency vehicle access shall be

Prior to any use of the project site or business activity being commenced
thereof, all conditions of approval contained herein shall be completed to
the satisfaction of the Director of Planning Services.
APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway, State of
