WHEREAS, Temporary Use Permit 95-84 submitted by Anytime Towing,
applicant, requests approval of a towing storage of towed
vehicles, temporary storage of recreational vehicles and a contractors storage
yard on Lots 52, 53 and 54 of Parkway Business Centre, Unit 1.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby resolve as follows:
Pursuant to the procedure of the City of Poway, implementing t'e
California E tal uality Act, the above-referenced pro ect is
categorically exempt, Cla s 4 and 11, in that the approved use s
temporary in nature and w ll have negligible or no permanent ef ects on
the environment.
That the proposed use is in accordance with the purpose and standards of
Section 17.26.020 of the Poway Municipal Code.
The City Council hereby approves Temporary Use Permit 95-84 subject to
the following conditions:
The following improvements shall be constructed to the satisfaction of the
Director of Planning Services:
The site shall be utilized in accordance with the approved site plan on
file in the Planning Department, except as may otherwise be provided
herein, prior to t of the activity.
Approval of this use shall not excuse compliance with all other sections
of the Zoning Ordinance and all other applicable City ordinances
presently in effect.
Obtain bu lding permits for placement of modular office and comply with
accessibi ity requirements. School fees shall be deferred at this time
and paid or the office and for the shop/storage building after approval
of a cond tional use permit on these lots.
The temporary use permit shall be subject to monthly review by the
Department of Planning Services for compliance with the conditions of
approval and to addr ss concerns that may have oc urred during the prior
month. If the permi is not in compliance with t e conditions of
approval, or if the lanning Services Department as received
complaints, the requ red review shall be set for earing with the City
Council to consider he modification or of the temporary use
permit.

Impounded cars and trucks, recreational vehicles and contractors items
only are to be stored at the site during the period covered by the
temporary use permit. No wrecked vehicles will be stored at the site.
The maximum number of vehicles, including 1 vehicles, to be
stored on the site is 200. Auction of impounded vehicles is limited to
twice per month.

to he Direc ors of Planning, ngineering and Safety Services. Approval
of he plan s required prior o ~ business. The temporary

Install a vinyl-coated chain link fence of eight feet in height with
nylon wind screen or wood slats around the perimeter of the site
observing the buildin and landscape setbacks, A minimum eight foot
high screening wall o masonry or other suitable aterial/fence will be
required for the even ual conditional use permit/ evelopment review for
areas of the site vis ble to the public with viny -coated chain link
fencing considered for side and rear yard areas w th landscape
screening.
The main entrance to the facility shall be from either Danielson Street
or Blaisdell Place with the other street frontage providing secondary
access.

No mechanical or auto body repair work will be done for stored vehicles.
Minor maintenance and servicing of tow vehicles is allowed. No vehicle
parts shall be sold on site.
12.
Provide adequate off-street p rking for lien sales. No on-street
parking along streets within he business park is allowed. Off-street
parking on any adjacent vacan lots would require the p of the
property owner for the specif ed period of use.
13.
Seatainers will be allowed for storage during the period of the
temporary use permit. Permanent storage buildings may be required for a
conditional use permit/development review approval.
