A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
APPROVING TEMPORARY USE PERMIT 97-14
WHEREAS, Temporary Use Permit 97-14, Ranchos Cycling Club, Alan Tragarz,
Applicant, requests approval to hold a bicy the South Poway Business Park on
Sunday, April 6, 1997.
WHEREAS, on April 1, 1997, the City Council held a hearing on the above
referenced item.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby

Pursuant to the procedure of the City of Poway, implementing the California
E Iai Quality Act of 1970, the al: ~ project is categorically
exempt, Classes 4(el and 11(c).
The proposed use is in accordance with the purposes and standards of
Section 17.26.030 of the Zoning Ordinance.
The g :traffic will not adversely impact the capacity and physical
character of the surrounding I/or the Transportation Element of the
General Plan.
The City Council hereby approves Temporary Use Permit 97-14 subject to the
following conditions:
The bike race shall be conducted as shown on the approved site/traffic plans
on file in the Planning Services Department.

Advance notification signs regarding street closures and detours shall be
required three days prior to the event.
All b affected by street closures or detours shall be notified in
writing of the date and time of detours prior to the event.
Emergency vehicle access to any roads or buildings along the proposed
~en. Any barricade which blocks access 1
or roadway shall be manned at all times by an adult capable of moving the
obstruction for emergency vehicles.
Public streets, off-street parking sites, and areas within and adjoining the
proposed area for the event shall be cleared of debris, and lifter after the
event. Temporary signage, and any other evidence of the event shall be
removed upon its completion.
