A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT 96-15M
ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NUMBER 317-280-50
WHEREAS, Conditional Use Permit 96-15M, submitted by the City of Poway,
Applicant, for the purpose of establishing a household hazarC' lection facility
within the City of Poway Materials Handling Yard property located at 12325 Crosthwaite
Circle. The property is located within the South Planned Community zone.
WHEREAS, on April 15, 1997, the City Council held a duly advertised public heating
to solicit from the public, both pro and con, relative to this application.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby

The City Council finds that this project will not have a significant adverse impact on

The project is consistent with the General Plan and the South Poway
Specific Plan which designates this site for industrial use.
That the location, size, design, and operating ch I the use are

South Poway Specific Plan; in that the subject property is identified as a site
where outdoor storage and use is allowed and was anticipated within the
South Poway Specific Plan area.

to adjacent uses, residents, buildings, strucl ' that
the use will be located on an industrial site which is not near any residential
or semi-public uses.
That the harmony in scale, bulk, coverage, and density is consistent with

which have been designed to be compatible with surrounding

The City Council hereby approves Conditional Use Permit 96-15M subject to the
following conditions:

of Planning Services for compliance with the conditions of approval and to

Operations Plan.
The applicant shall comply with the latest adopted Uniform Building Code, Uniform
Mechanical Code, Uniform Plumbing Code, National Electric Code, Uniform Fire
Code, and all other applicable codes and ord ~ect at the time of building
permit issuance.
7. Disabled access shall be provided to the attendant's office.
8. This approval shall become null and void if building p : issued for this
project within two years from the date of project approval.
COMPLIANCE WITH THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS IS REQUIRED. COMPLIANCE
SHALL BE APPROVED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF SAFETY SERVICES.
