A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
APPROVING SIGN PERMIT 97-12
ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NUMBER 314-192-65
WHEREAS, Sign Permit (SP) 97-12 submitted by Poway New Life Church of the
Nazarene, applicant, requests approval to install an eight foot high sign when the adopted
standard is six feet. The subject property is located at 13709 Twin Peaks Road within the
Residential Single Family 4 zone.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City does hereby
follows:
The sign permit is not subject to the California E
3remise sign.
Iai Quality Act in that it
That the proposed Jance with the purpose and standards contained
in Section 17.40.010 of the Poway Municipal Code.
The City Council hereby approves Sign Permit 97-12 subject to the following
conditions:
Within 30 days of approval the applicant shall submit in writing that all
conditions of approval have been read and understood.
Th 'y building permits and approvals shall be obtained prior to the
onset of construction.
The chumh is permitted one (1) freestanding sign. The existing freestanding
sign for the church located at the driveway entrance shall be removed upon
completion of the new 8 foot high sign.
Approval of this request shall not 31lance with Section 17,40.010
of the Zoning Code and all other applicable City Ordinances in effect at the
time of sign permit issuance.
Approval of this request shall b land void if building p
obtained within two years of the approval of Sign Permit 97-12.
