APPROVING TEMPORARY USE PERMIT 97-27
WHEREAS, Temporary Use Permit 97-27, submitted by Chuck Laham/Palomar
Pomerado Health System (Pomerado Hospital), applicant, requests holding a "Gala
Celebration" concert. The twilight concert is to be held on Sunday, June 29, 1997 at
Lake Poway grounds between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. with up to 4,000
area residents expected to attend.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby

Pursuant to the procedures of the City of Poway, implementing the California
E Quality Act (CEQA), the ab :1 project is categorically
exempt, Class 4e and 1 lc, in that the Lake Poway Park Celebration event is
temporary in nature and will have negligible or no permanent effects on the

The City Council hereby approves Temporary Use Permit 97-27 subject to the
following conditions:
COMPLIANCE WITH THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS IS REQUIRED.
COMPLIANCE SHALL BE APPROVED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING
SERVICES.
The representatives of the event committees shall meet with representatives of
each of the City depad :1 at least one week prior to the event to
ensure that all conditions of approval will be met.
