A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
APPROVING COMPREHENSIVE SIGN PROGRAM 80-16M(3)
ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NUMBER 317-130-47
WHEREAS, Comprehensive Sign Program Modification 80-16M(3), SteinMart,
applicant, requests approval of a modification to the comprehensive sign program for
the former MegaFoods/K-Mart Center, located at the northeast corner of Poway Road
and Midland Road, in the ACC zone; and
WHEREAS, on February 10, 1998, the City Council held a hearing to review the
proposed sign program modification.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council does hereby

The comprehensive sign program is in compliance with the standards contained
in Section 17.40.240 of the Zoning Ordinance.

The City Council hereby approved Comprehensive Sign Program Modification
80-16M(3) subject to the following conditions:
Within 30 days of approval the applicant shall submit in writing that all conditions
of approval have been read and understood.
All new signs installed within the subject center shall conform to the sign criteria
contained in the adopted City sign standards.
Tenants which are part of a chain of stores with a nationally recognized sign
design, may utilize letter styles and colors other than those specified in this plan.
The major tenant may use wall sign lettering, the capital letters of which may
