A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
APPROVING COMPREHENSIVE SIGN PROGRAM 98-04
ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NUMBER 317-270-40, 41
WHEREAS, Comprehensive Sign Program (CSP) 98-04 submitted by Pomerado
Distribution Center II, Applicant, requests approval of a comprehensive sign program for
the light industrial 3rised of two multi-tenant buildings located at 13250-13350
Gregg Street,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City does hereby
follows:
The sign program is not subject to the California E :al Quality Act in that it

The City Council hereby approves Comprehensive Sign Program 98-04 subject to the
following conditions:
1. Within 30 days of approval the applicant shall submit Tn writing that all conditions of
approval have been read and understood.
2. All signs within each lot shall conform to the sign criteria and design guidelines
contained herein:
WALL SIGNS:
a. Wall signs shall be limited to identification of business by name and
identifying logo.
b. The. sign height shall be limited to 18 inches. Logos shall be
limited to 18 inch height and no more than six (6) square feet. (Color may
be used in the logo.)
c. The sign area shall be limited to four (4) percent of the building
face, not to exceed 100 square feet and not to exceed 75 percent of the
tenant frontage.

The sign type shall be" or "Optima" d letters fabricated
from bronze plastic or bronze metal and mounted with foam tape and
adhesive. (No mechanical 1' lowed.)
Window and door signs shall be white vinyl letters and Iogos, not to exceed
15 percent of the total window or door area.
Nationally known tenants may request a deviation from the standards for
individual tenant signs only.
Existing tenant signs may be retained as long as they J in good
repair. Upon replacement or change of occupancy, the new signs shall
comply with the standards herein.
Approval of this request shall not waive compliance with Section 17.40.010 of the
Zoning Code and all other applicable City Ordinances in effect at the time of sign
permit issuance.
APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Poway, State of
California, this 26th day of January, 1999.
