A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF POWAY, CALIFORNIA
AMENDING COMPREHENSIVE SIGN PROGRAM 98-03M
ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NUMBER 317-280-37, 38 and 39
WHEREAS, Comprehensive Sign Program (CSP) 98-03 submitted by American
Property Enterprises, Applicant, req :lment of the comprehensive sign program
for the light industrial 3rised of three separate lots, four buildings named the
"Parkway Commerce Center" located at 13651-13771 Danielson Street; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to G : Code Section 66020(d)(1), NOTICE IS
FURTHER GIVEN that the 90-day period to protest the imposition of any fee, dedication,
or otb described in this resolution begins on the effective date of
this resolution and any such protest must I~ that complies with Section 66020.

The City Council hereby approves Comprehensive Sign Program 98-03M subject to the
following conditions:

BUSINESS DIRECTORY SIGNS: One 3' wide by 4' high concrete directory sign for
each building located 13' back of property line and oriented perpendicular to
Danielson Street for viewing from each direction of travel (2-sided sign). Locations
are to be adjacent to driveway entrances per attached site plan. Design
d' paint colors, copy sizes and rel: (not actual) copy
to be as shown on Sheets S1-S4 by Smith Consulting Amhitects. Font style of the
address number shall be Times Bold ltalic. Font style of the sign copy shall be
Optima Semi Bold.
WALL SIGNS:
Generally centered within the rectangular area formed
by glass panels, concrete panel j' the sides and

and 18'8" respectively above finished floor. For Buildings 3 and 4, the
bottom and top horizontal between 11'8" and 19'8" respectively

For signs directly facing Scripps Poway Parkway, only on the south
sides of Buildings 1, 2,3 and 4, tenants may use internally lighted
individual channel letters and Iogos provided all other requirements
of this Comprehensive Sign Prog 3served.
For wall signs anywhere within the Project, external flood lighting may
be directed at signs provided the fixtures and wiring are concealed
behind the metal canopies over tenant entrances.
Approval of this request shall not 31iance with Section 17.40.010 of the
Zoning Code and all other applicable City Ordinances in effect at the time of sign
permit issuance.
